Graves Co. Man Charged In Accidental Shooting Of Infant

Kentucky State Police say a Graves County man has been charged in connection to the accidental shooting of his infant, who was flown to a Nashville hospital Tuesday.
State Police report troopers responded to the report of an accidental, self-inflicted, gunshot wound to a two-year old near Sedalia. They say the investigation revealed the infant had access to a holstered handgun which led to an accidental discharge of the gun. The two-year old was flown to a Nashville hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, the investigation revealed that the father, 25-year old Zachary Page, failed to secure the weapon which allowed full access to the infant. Page was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and lodged in the Graves County Jail.
State Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
