Caldwell Medical Center Community Health Festival Saturday

All in the community are being invited to attend the inaugural Caldwell Medical Center Community Health Festival on Saturday for a day full of family fun, informational presentations, good food, and more.
Marketing Director Joe Duncan says the day will kick off bright and early at 8AM with the Breast Cancer 5K run/walk followed by a pancake breakfast at 8:30AM at the Medical Center. He states that the 5K will begin at Dr. Mike Littlejohn’s office on Micbeth Drive and will follow a route downtown and back. Registration is $25 which will go towards future breast cancer awareness events facilitated through the hospital.
Duncan adds that the festival itself will run from 10AM to 2PM on the Center’s campus and will include plenty of kid friendly activities.

The festival will also feature live music throughout the day.

Duncan notes that several of the Medical Center’s providers will be doing informational sessions inside the hospital.

He expresses that the festival is a way for the Medical Center to have more outreach within the community.

The Community Health Festival will also feature free health screenings, flu-shots, a blood drive with the Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center, food provided by Big Johnz BBQ and Adams Breezy Hill Restaurant, and more. The first 25 people in line to receive their flu-shot will get the flu-shot for free.
WPKY’s Tess and Ty will be broadcasting live from 10AM to 2PM at the festival so be sure to stop by and say hello.
