The Jr Beta Club at the Caldwell County Middle School are asking for the community’s help for one of their service projects.
Lisa Trimble, Educator and Club Sponsor, says that the Club is participating in SOCKtober, a service project that collects new packages of socks for those in need. She adds that socks will then be donated to local nursing homes and the Caldwell County Family Resource HOPE and COPE Centers.
Trimble noted that Club members will be set up at Walmart on Friday afternoon from four until six to collect donations of new packages of youth, men, and/or women’s socks. All members of the community are being encouraged to drop by and donate socks on Friday.
