Dry and cold conditions are forecast for Halloween Thursday. Weather Edge Forecaster David Powell says trick-or-treaters will need to dress warmly.
He adds western Kentucky will start to feel the freezing temperatures beginning Thursday afternoon.
The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Freeze Watch from Thursday evening through Friday morning for western Kentucky.
A Freeze Watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible and could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
