Princeton Man Facing Drug Trafficking Charges

A Princeton man is facing several drug related charges, including drug trafficking, following an incident Thursday morning.
Princeton Police Chief Chris King says officers responded to a suspicious vehicle at the West Side Condos on Linton Way just after 8:20. He adds that when officers arrived on scene they located the suspect vehicle and made contact with the driver, 35-year-old David L. Oliver.
Chief King states that officers observed marijuana in the vehicle and took Oliver into custody. A search of the vehicle revealed more suspected marijuana, scales, and baggies. Oliver was charged with trafficking in marijuana and drug paraphernalia buying or possessing.
Chief King reports that when Oliver was searched at the jail, methamphetamine was allegedly found on his person. He was subsequently charged with first degree possession of methamphetamine and first degree promoting contraband.
Oliver was then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
