Princeton First Christian Church Welcomes New Pastor

A local church is celebrating the installation of their new pastor.
According to a release, the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Princeton welcomed their new pastor, Reverend Dr. Jonathan Webster, on October 19th. The release states that several church officials were in attendance during the celebration including Transitional West Area Regional Minister Reverend Rachel Nance Woehler and Dr. Webster’s uncle, Reverend Doug Bird, who preached the sermon.
Jennifer Werstein, the church’s board chair, delivered opening comments on the search and call process while pulpit committee chair Tammie Sanders, chair of the elders Steve Meadows, and Cortney Sweet, on behalf of all deacons, also participated in Dr. Webster’s installation.
Other local ministers involved in the installation included Reverend Ken Godshall from the Central Presbyterian Church in Princeton and Reverend Dennis Gray of Second Christian Mayfield.
