Two-Vehicle Accident Sends One to Hospital

One person was transported to a local hospital following a two-vehicle accident that caused traffic backups for about an hour Thursday morning.
Princeton Fire Chief Brent Francis says that crews were dispatched to reports of a two-vehicle accident on Rock Springs Hill on Highway 139 South just after nine. He adds that crews did have to remove the driver of one vehicle through mechanical means by prying open the car door.
Chief Francis notes that one person, whose name has not been released, was transported from the scene by Caldwell County EMS for injuries sustained in the accident.
He states that fire and rescue crews assisted the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office by directing traffic through the area for just over an hour.
No other information has been released at this time.
