Caldwell Honoring Veterans With Several Events

As we near the day set aside each year to celebrate and extend gratitude and honor to those who have fought for our nation, community members are reminding veterans from around the area of several events happening leading up to and on Veterans Day Monday.
David Warren, Paster at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, says they will be hosting a Veterans Day Fish Fry on Saturday, November 9th beginning at noon at their location on Hopkinsville Road/Highway 91 South in Princeton. He adds that area musician Eric Horner will perform patriotic and Christian music following the dinner. Pastor Warren notes that all veterans in attendance will also receive a special and unique gift, a Military Bible Stick, which is a small portable player and headphones with a dramatized version of the New Testament that can be listened to anywhere. Caldwell County Elementary School administration are encouraging all veterans to attend their annual Veterans Day Celebration on Monday, November 11th beginning at 8AM in the school gymnasium. They add that the fifth grade class will be presenting a musical performance that will honor veterans of all wars. Veterans are also being invited to attend the annual Veterans Day Program on the Caldwell County Courthouse steps on Monday, November 11th beginning around 11AM.
