Marion Man Facing Theft Charges Following Incident

A Marion man is facing theft charges following an incident at a local pawn shop last month.
According to a Princeton Police report released Thursday officers received information that jewelry stolen from a residence in Marion had been located at Princeton Pawn. The report states that investigation revealed 29-year-old Jeffrey M. Gernigin allegedly pawned the jewelry on October 24th.
Gernigin was then cited to appear in court on a charge of receiving stolen property over $500 but less than $10,000.
