Princeton Woman Arrested; Children Surrendered to Child Protection Services

A Princeton woman has been arrested and several children have been surrendered to Child Protection Services following an incident Friday afternoon.
In a report released Tuesday, Princeton Police Chief Chris King states that officers responded to a complaint of an intoxicated female caring for young children in the 200 block of Hillview Court just after three. He adds that investigation revealed that 30-year-old Brittany A. Carter was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody.
Carter was charged with three counts of second degree wanton endangerment and was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
Chief King notes that the children were then removed from the residence by Child Protection Services.
