A local grocery store is partnering with local law enforcement to provide food for those in need this holiday season.
Management at Food Giant say they’ll be sponsoring a stuff the cruiser type event on Thursday, December 5th from 9AM to 4PM at their location on East Legion Drive in Princeton. They add that a Princeton Police cruiser will be parked in the parking lot for people to cram as many non-perishable food items into the vehicle as possible.
Management note that all donated non-perishable food items will be given to the Christ Tabernacle Food Pantry, which provides much needed food items to residents in Caldwell County throughout the entire year.
They express that needed food items for the event include canned vegetables, pastas, mac & cheese, Ramen noodles, packages of cookies, canned soups, pasta sauces, cereal, and more.
Everyone at Food Giant and the Princeton Police Department are encouraging community members to show up and help them stuff the cruiser to help those here in our own backyards who may not have much this Christmas holiday.
