A celebration of life service for Mary Jane Haile Young, age 74, of Princeton, will be held on Saturday afternoon at two at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Claxton Young Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday from noon until service time at the funeral home.
Mary Jane had a variety of careers throughout her life ranging from factory work to retail, from restaurant server to manager, and several positions in the medical field including ER tech, medical office manager, and pharmacy tech. But her children and the many nieces and nephews whom she mothered will tell you the roles in which she most excelled was being a Mom and a “Mamaw.”
She is survived by her daughter: Terrie Lynn Young Aldridge and husband, Troy Aldridge, of Nashville; nephew: Michael Ray Hall of Princeton; granddaughter: Abby Rae Hall of Nortonville; Sisters: Linda Heath and husband, Mike, of Auburn, KY, Peggy Lemens and husband, Donald, of Joshua, TX, and Joyce Scherdin of Louisville; eight nieces and nephews; five great nephews and nieces; numerous beloved cousins; and her very special long-time significant other, Jim Gillum of Mayfield.
