Funeral services for June Forsythe Goodwin, age 79, of Princeton, will be held Saturday morning at eleven at First Baptist Church in Princeton. Burial will follow in Eddy Creek Church Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from four until eight at Morgan’s Funeral Home and Saturday morning from ten until service time at the church.
June was a devout Christian, avid reader, loving wife and mother, and an awesome grandmother. She was an active member at First Baptist Church, and, along with her husband, founded Goodwin Insurance Agency. She also previously served as church secretary at Southside Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include her husband: Bobby Goodwin of Princeton; one daughter: Jennifer Hammett and husband, Torey, of Princeton; one son: Todd Goodwin and wife, Chancie, of Mt. Juliet, TN; two sisters: Joyce Johnson and husband, Billy, of Princeton and Janice Swatzell and husband, Dana, of Cerulean; two brothers: Ferrell Forsythe and wife, Beverly, of Princeton and David Forsythe and wife, Jewell Ann, of Princeton; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
