Evansville Man Facing DUI Charges in Princeton Following Incident

An Evansville man is facing DUI charges following an incident in Princeton over the weekend.

Princeton Police Chief Chris King says that officers responded to a complaint of an intoxicated male on Akers Avenue just after eleven Saturday night. He adds that when officers arrived on the scene they located 38-year-old Benjamin M. Sollman who was determined to allegedly be under the influence of alcohol.

Sollman was taken and custody and charged with his first DUI offense and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle prohibited.

He was then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
