Community members within the local area are being invited to attend a breakfast to hear an update from elected leaders on what’s happening in the nation’s capitol.
Lake Barkley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Deb Domke says the Chamber will be hosting a Legislative Breakfast on Monday, February 17th from 7:30 until 8:30AM at the Lyon Convention Center in Eddyville. She adds that the featured speaker, United States Congressman James Comer, who represents Kentucky’s First District, will discuss a number of timely topics and will give an update on the ongoing War on Asian Carp. A short question and answer session will follow if time permits.
Domke notes that the event will include a buffet style breakfast provided by Chamber member, Our Daily Bread. She states while the event is open to the pubic, pre-registration and tickets are preferred. Tickets are $15 for Chamber members and $20 for non-Chamber members.
