Community members are being invited to attend the fifth annual Martin Luther King Jr. Luncheon next week.
Paulette Gray, one of the organizers for the event, says the program will be held Monday, January 20th, beginning at noon at the Central Presbyterian Church in downtown Princeton.
She adds that the essays were a great way for the students to honor the great Civil Rights activist and leader.
Gray notes that the main program will be held in the church’s sanctuary with the luncheon to be held in the fellowship hall following the program.
She states that the guest speaker, Shelia Smith Anderson, has been devoted to education for a very long time.
Tickets for the event are $5, which covers the meal, and can be purchased either at the door or by calling 270-365-3467.
