Eddyville Man Facing Charges After Leaving Scene of Accident

An Eddyville man is facing charges after leaving the scene of an accident Sunday morning.
Princeton Police Chief Chris King reports that officers responded to a complaint of a hit and run at the intersection of South Jefferson and Legion Streets just before eleven. He adds that upon further investigation it was revealed that a Hudson Logistics tractor trailer was witnessed leaving the scene after striking a utility pole while making a right turn onto East Legion Street.
Chief King states that the truck was located and stopped on Cadiz Road near the Interstate 24 onramp by Princeton Fire Assistant Chief Tim Cook. Officers responded and cited 55-year-old Rodger D. Gray to appear in court on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident.
Chief King notes that the collision caused the traffic light at the intersection of South Jefferson and Legion Streets to be inoperable for two days.
