Funeral services for Steve Boren, age 59, of Hopkinsville will be held Saturday at noon at Christ Tabernacle Church in Princeton. Burial will follow at three in the Ridgetop Cemetery in Crofton.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from five until eight at the church.
Steve was a home builder and owner of Crossroads Construction, an elder and servant at Christ Tabernacle in Princeton where he led the recovery program, Freedom 4:18. He also taught a bible study at the Christian County Jail. He loved showing people Christ wherever he went and ministry was his passion.
He is survived by his wife: Lisa A. Boren; son: Wes Boren of Hopkinsville; father: James “Jim” Boren of Cadiz; and two brothers: David Boren and wife, Beth, of Cadiz and John Boren of Owensboro; he is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Freedom 4:18 Recovery Ministry at Christ Tabernacle in Princeton.
