Funeral services for Barbara Jo Moody Oates, age 86, of Princeton, formerly of Asheville, North Carolina, will be held Friday afternoon at one at Morgan’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening from four until eight at the funeral home.
Barbara Jo attended Prospect Baptist Church and was a member of Lamasco Baptist Church. She enjoyed walking with her dog, Shadow, laughing with family, and listening to music.
She is survived by two daughters: Pamela Jo Robinson of Providence and Lesa Wynn of Eddyville; one son: Jeff Oates of Eddyville; one sister: Carolyn Brunson of Paducah; four grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
