An Eddyville man is facing additional charges following an incident at the Caldwell County Jail last week.
According to a Princeton Police report released Wednesday officers responded to a complaint at the jail just after seven Friday night. The report states that deputy jailers told officers they found contraband on an inmate returning from work release.
Officers then charged 27-year-old Michael D. McGregor with first degree promoting contraband, prescription controlled substance not in proper container first offense, and illegal possession of a legend drug.
McGregor remains lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
