Organizers with Happy Feet Equals Learning Feet are reminding the community that they are still actively providing shoes to children in need within the area.
Director Jodie Lamb says that the program first began just over a decade ago and has since grown to encompass over 20 counties.
She adds that they gave out 404 pairs of shoes last year, the biggest participation they’ve seen so far, and expresses that they’ll again need the help of the community to raise money for even more shoes.
Lamb notes that they will soon be contacting community members for donations.
She states that they will again be partnering with Shoe Sensation in Princeton to provide children with the brand new shoes.
