Several downtown businesses, including WPKY, lost power for a short amount of time following an accident that involved a semi tractor trailer Thursday afternoon.
Princeton Fire Chief Brent Francis reports that just after noon that a semi was attempting to make a delivery in the alley behind several Main Street businesses, across from the Crooked Tail Distillery, when the trailer hooked onto a cable line.
Power was returned to most of the city just before one but crews with the Princeton Electric Plant Board remain on scene to repair the pole.
