Officials with Waste Corporation of America (WCA) have released a more detailed list of which Princeton city streets will be affected by the trash collection schedule changes.
Princeton Account Manager Jeff Simms says that residents who live north of Main Street, including the Ideal Market and Napa side of West Main Street, will now have their trash collected on Mondays beginning Monday, February 17th. He adds that residents who live south of Main Street, including the Butler School side of West Main Street, will now have their trash collected on Thursdays beginning Thursday, February 20th. President’s Day will not delay any trash pickup and billing will stay the same.
Simms notes that WCA will have extra trucks and staff stationed throughout the city and county for the first couple of weeks to assist with any issues the changeover may create. He states that all county WCA customers have received a letter if their collection day has changed.
