Princeton Man Facing Charges Following Traffic Stop

A Princeton man is facing several charges following a traffic stop Sunday night.
According to a Princeton Police report officers responded to a reckless driver complaint on Highway 62 West just after seven. The report states that when officers located the vehicle they observed several violations and initiated a traffic stop. Once officers had safely stopped the vehicle they determined that the driver, 81-year-old Lester O. Poling, was allegedly under the influence of intoxicants.
Poling was arrested and charged with second degree criminal mischief, DUI first offense, reckless driving, and disregarding a traffic control device.
He was then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
