Memorial services will be held at a later date for Gary “Ted” Detty, age 79, of Eddyville.
Ted was an Army Veteran, retired from the US Post Office in West Palm Beach, FL after 22 years of service, retired from Akridge Farm Supply in Eddyville after 18 years of service, and was a member of Saratoga United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife: Patricia Detty of Eddyville; two sons: David Bevan and wife, Kimberly, of Wisconsin and Keith Bevan and wife, Jennifer, of Salt Lake City, UT; seven grandchildren: Aimee Breunig and husband, Mitch; Christopher Bevan and wife, Lauren; Michael Bevan and wife, Stephanie; Kayla Bevan; Chloe Bevan; Jonah Bevan; Nicholas Gold; and three great grandchildren.
Goodman Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of the arrangements.
