Caldwell County’s 4-H Trash Sculpture Contest winners were recognized by county leaders Tuesday morning.
During a Fiscal Court meeting Judge/Executive Larry Curling announced the winners of the contest, starting with the primary school aged category.
He then announced the elementary aged winners.
Judge Curling also announced the middle school aged winners.
He ended by announcing the high school winners.
Caldwell County 4-H Agent Rhonda Jewell explained that Addie Cotton won $140 in cash prizes while Ella Johnson won $240 in cash prizes due to their placing at the county and regional levels.
The annual 4-H Trash Sculpture Contest is sponsored by the Solid Waste Advisory Committee and county fiscal courts who are members.
