Fourth Night Brings Highest Total Of Week

Despite the threat of severe storms the fourth night of the 49th Annual Princeton Optimist Club Radio Auction proved to be quite successful, bringing the highest total so far.
Club Vice President Benji Kilgore says that the club raised about $1,712 from the sale of 67 items during the fourth night of the auction, which is held in the Butler Gymnasium in downtown Princeton.

He adds that most of the proceeds from this week’s auction will go to support the club’s scholarship fund, which provides scholarships to graduating seniors in Caldwell and Lyon counties.

Kilgore is also reminding those who have purchased items that Friday is the last day they can be picked up. Members of the Optimist Club will be at the Butler building beginning at 10 Friday morning for people to pick up items.

The 49th Annual Princeton Optimist Club Radio Auction concludes Friday night following the 5PM news. The number to call this year is 270-365-5866 and will be aired live here at WPKY 103.3FM/1580AM, online at wpkyonline.com, and on the WPKY App.
