Kentucky General Assembly Session Postponed

The Kentucky General Assembly session is postponed until Tuesday, March 17, due to concerns over the Coronavirus, Covid-19.
Kentucky House and Senate leaders on both sides of the aisle decided to not convene Friday, March 13, and Monday, March 16.  The decision was made in light of efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The legislative leaders said they continue to support the efforts of Governor Andy Beshear and Kentucky’s public health community to contain and mitigate the Covid-19 virus.  The missed days will not affect the number of legislative days left in the session.  They add the postponement will allow them to evaluate safety procedures as they move through the remainder of the session.
