Caldwell Medical Center Implementing Cautionary Procedures in Light of COVID-19 Concerns

The Caldwell Medical Center and Caldwell Medical Associates are implementing cautionary procedures in the wake of the increasing coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
Officials with the Medical Center state that in an abundance of caution, they have implemented appropriate infection control protocols at all of their facilities to protect patients, staff, and the community. They add that visitor restrictions were implemented beginning Friday with only immediate family members and/or members of the Clergy being allowed during visiting hours.
Medical Center officials also ask those who are sick or have respiratory symptoms, such as cough, shortness of breath, nasal congestion, fever, and sore throat, to please not visit at this time. Those patients arriving at the clinic or outpatient areas should inform staff immediately if they are sick with flu-like symptoms and may be requested to wear a mask covering their mouth and nose while in the facility. Medical providers are also asking potential patients to please call before arriving at the facility, especially if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms.
The Caldwell Medical Center Cafeteria will also be temporarily closed to the public starting Monday, March 16th and will remain closed until further notice.

Other medical providers throughout the county including Community Medical Clinic and Health First Community Health Center are also asking potential patients to call before coming into their facilities.
