A community wide baby shower that was scheduled for Monday has been canceled due to health concerns.
Stephanie Randall, HOPE Family Resource Center Coordinator, says that the baby shower, which was an event set to bring together expectant and new mothers and resources throughout the community under one roof to help make bringing a baby into the home a pleasant and safe experience, has been postponed over an abundance of caution surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus) concerns.
She adds that organizers are hoping to reschedule the baby shower for another date later in the spring.
