Projected drop-off times for students receiving meals through the Caldwell County School District have now been determined.
Director of Food Services Will Brown says that several drop-off locations will receive meals at 11AM including Violet Loop Office, Second Baptist Church, Butler Gym under the awning, Hillview Court Office, Northside Baptist Church, and Princeton Apartments. He adds that Deer Run Apartments will begin receiving meals at 11:10AM while drop-off locations receiving meals beginning at 11:15AM include Fredonia First Baptist Church, Mount Pisgah Church, and Dotson Park. Gospel Temple Church and Cooper Circle Office drop-off locations should then be receiving meals around 11:17AM. The drop-off location at Southside Baptist Church will begin receiving meals at 11:20AM while West Side Condos will begin receiving meals at 11:25AM. The City County Park will receive deliveries at 11:30AM with Grace Court Offices receiving meals at 11:32AM and Pete’s Path receiving meals at 11:35AM. Midway Baptist Church and the lot beside O’Reilly Auto Parts will begin receiving meals at 11:40AM, while Donaldson Baptist Church will receive meals at 11:45AM and Sugar Creek Church will receive meals at 11:55AM.
Brown adds that those picking up meals should look for a Caldwell County School Bus during the designated times but notes that those at Princeton Apartments should look for the Caldwell County School District Suburban. He states that only students will receive meals, no meal will be given to an adult without the student present.
Brown notes that the school will continue to take orders daily from 7 until 9AM but any orders received after 9AM will not be served until the following day. Parents are being asked to call each child’s school to place them on the list and indicate their name, contact number, and number of the desired pickup location.
