Chamber of Commerce Encouraging Support of Local Business

The Princeton/Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce is encouraging community members to still partake in the local economy by supporting small businesses that have been hit hard by social distancing mandates in the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Executive Director Chad Oliver says that while all non-essential businesses, as well as restaurants, have closed their doors to public traffic many are still open, they’re just doing things a little bit different.

He adds that gift certificates are a great way to help support local business as it gives them the money they need now and then at a later date, once mandates have lifted and the threat of the spread of COVID-19 has decreased, you can use them for a fun day or evening out.
