LIHEAP Crisis Assistance Deadline March 31st

The Caldwell County Pennyrile Allied Community Services (PACS) Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Office is continuing their heating assistance through the end of this month.
Nan Tackett, CSBG Case Manager, says that they will continue their LIHEAP, or Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, Crisis Program until March 31st. She adds that this program assists income qualifying households with their disconnect notices or past due balances for their heating costs up to a $400 limit per crisis season. They will also assist with propane and kerosene for those who meet certain criteria.
Tackett notes that due to social distancing mandates put in place by state government to help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) her office is currently closed to in-person traffic but applications will be taken over the phone. Those in need of assistance can call between 8AM and noon Monday through Friday.
For more information, or if you need assistance, you can contact Nan Tackett at 270-365-5097.
