Princeton Man Facing Assault Charges

A Princeton man is facing assault charges following an investigation into an incident earlier this month.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison states that officers responded to the 100 block of Masonic Drive for a domestic complaint just before midnight on Sunday, March 15th. He adds that investigation revealed that a physical altercation had occurred but the alleged perpetrator had left the scene.
Assistant Chief Allison reports that officers were able to make contact with the alleged perpetrator, 42-year-old David M. Watkins, on Thursday and charged him with fourth degree assault – domestic violence, third or greater offense within five years.
Watkins was then cited to court on the aforementioned charges.
