Princeton Woman Facing Theft Charges

A Princeton woman is facing theft charges following an incident at a local retail business Thursday afternoon.
According to a Princeton Police report officers responded to a theft compliant at Walmart just after 4:30. The report indicates that investigation revealed 53-year-old Constance F. Oliver allegedly took a wallet that was laid on a checkout counter by another shopper and had left the store with it.
The report states that officers later made contact with Oliver and she reportedly told officers she had taken the wallet and later disposed of it. Officers were able to recover the wallet.
Oliver was then issued a citation for theft by unlawful taking under $500 and criminal littering.
