More Positive COVID-19 Cases At Lyon County Nursing Home

Another resident and two staff members at a nursing home in Lyon County have tested positive for COVID-19.
Judge-Executive Wade White announced Tuesday night that a 97-year old female who was a resident at River’s Bend Nursing Home had tested positive for the novel coronavirus and was hospitalized out of state on March 29.
Judge White announced Friday night they had tested 50 people at the nursing home and received eleven of those tests back from the state, with additional positive confirmations.

He added they are hoping the remainder of the test results will be back Monday or Tuesday. Judge White stated he is trying to find a way to test everyone at the nursing home.
Judge White also announced Friday night the Pennyrile District Health Department had confirmed a 55-year old male in Lyon County tested positive for COVID-19. He said the man is hospitalized and is believed to be improving.
