Eddyville Man Facing Drug Charges in Princeton

An Eddyville man is facing charges in Princeton following a traffic stop Wednesday afternoon.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison states that officers conducted a traffic stop on Maple Avenue just before three. He adds that during the traffic stop officers observed the driver, 47-year-old David S. Wallace, allegedly making movement in the vehicle as if he was trying to conceal something.
Assistant Chief Allison reports that investigation then revealed that Wallace was attempting to conceal suspected illegal substances.
Wallace was then cited to appear in court on charges of first degree possession of a controlled substance – second offense, and various other vehicle related offenses.
