Community Shows Tremendous Support for Caldwell Class of 2020

The community showed its immense support for the Caldwell County Class of 2020 during their celebration parade around Princeton Friday evening.
While graduation activities may not have been like those of the past due to social distancing mandates to help curb the spread of coronavirus community members lined the streets with homemade posters and balloons and screamed and honked their encouragement and excitement as members of the graduating class drove by with their families.

School officials say 134 seniors were escorted through town by School Resource Officer Nate Herron and members of the Princeton Fire Department before they traveled the Caldwell County School Campus one last time as students. Once they arrived at the high school they were instructed to get out of their vehicle and were able to walk across the stage and receive their diploma as their name was called.
