Hopkinsville Native Named Deputy Parks Commissioner

Hopkinsville native Will Adams has been named the Deputy Kentucky Parks Commissioner.

Adams has been working as an attorney for the Tourism, Arts, and Heritage Cabinet since 2015.  He was also deputy general counsel for Governor Steve Beshear and also served as an attorney for several other state agencies.
Before joining state government in 2011, Adams worked in private practice in Lexington.
Adams earned his undergraduate degree from Centre College and his law degree from the University of Kentucky.  His first summer job was as a dockhand at the Lake Barkley State Park Marina.  He and his family live in Lexington.  Adams is the son of Jim and stepmother Betty Adams of Cadiz, mother Pam Smith of Hopkinsville and Columbia Falls, Montana, and stepfather Bruce McLaughlin of Springfield, Tennessee.
