Princeton Woman Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident Over Weekend

A Princeton woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident over the weekend.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison states officers responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of North Hawthorne and East Shepardson Streets just before 2:30 Saturday afternoon. He adds that investigation at the scene revealed that 65-year-old Patricia D. Duckworth, of Bowling Green, was traveling east on East Shepardson Street when she traveled through the intersection, striking a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Candice D. Lady, causing the left side curtain airbags to deploy.
Assistant Chief Allison reports Duckworth told officers she was not familiar with the area and did not see the stop sign at the intersection.
Lady was transported to Caldwell Medical Center by Caldwell County EMS for non-life threatening injuries.
