A Princeton man is facing various drug charges following an incident Monday night.
Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison states officers observed a male that appeared intoxicated walking in the roadway along Maple Avenue just before eight. He adds investigation determined that the male, 36-year-old Steven E. McKenzie, was under the influence of intoxicants and was also found to allegedly be in possession of illegal substances and paraphernalia.
McKenzie was arrested and charged with third degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, prescription not in proper container, public intoxication, and various other drug related offenses.
He was then lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
