Spring LIHEAP Subsidy Assistance Now Available

The Caldwell County PACS Office is altering the community that assistance is now available for those who may need a bit of help paying for their electric bills.
Nan Tackett, CSBG Case Manger, says PACS is able to offer spring energy assistance this year, something they’ve not been able to do for a long time.

She adds the subsidy could potentially take two months to take effect so it’s not for immediate relief.

Tackett notes assistance is based on income and household size and is encouraging everyone to contact her to see if they are eligible for the program.

She also states PACS is again partnering with the Edge Media Group to host the “Cooling Our Communities” fan drive.

Fan donations will be taken through the end of June to be distributed at the first of July and can be dropped off at the WPKY studios at 1035 West Main Street in Princeton.
