Caldwell Fiscal Court Meeting To Be Held In Person Tuesday

For the first time since March the Caldwell County Fiscal Court will once again hold an in-public meeting.
Judge-Executive Larry Curling says the regular session meeting Tuesday, June 9th will be held beginning at 9AM in the third floor courtroom of the Caldwell County Courthouse. He adds the meeting will be open to the public but is reminding those who may attend to follow all social distancing guidelines by keeping at least six feet distancing between themselves and others and wearing a mask.
Judge Curling states several things will be included on the agenda, such as a resolution authorizing a coronavirus relief fund, the first reading of the administrative code policy ordinance, an appointment to the Caldwell City County Park Board, a resolution concerning the IDA Economic Development project, and more.
The Fiscal Court will also discuss when to hold the next meeting as the originally scheduled date will fall on Election Day and the courthouse will be closed to everything but voting.
Anyone wishing to attend the meeting should enter the handicap accessible entrance on the north side of the courthouse, as it will be the only door open.
