William “Bill” Martin, 93, of Princeton

Funeral services for William “Bill” Martin, age 93, of Princeton, will be held Monday morning at eleven at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday evening from four until eight at the church.
Bill had retired from the Illinois-Central-Gulf Railroad, was Caldwell County Sheriff from 1966-1970, worked dispatch for his own trucking company, and ran the family farm. He was also a veteran of the United States Army, served as a deacon of First Baptist Church of Princeton, was on the PCA Board and Farm Credit Bank Board, and was a member of Masonic Lodge #82.
Bill is survived by his daughter: Tina Steltenpohl and husband, Bob, of Crestwood; son: J.R. Martin and wife, Dena, of Princeton; brother: James C. Martin and wife, Alma, of Sarasota, FL; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, with one on the way, and several nieces and nephews.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to River’s Bend Assisted Living Fund in Kuttawa.
Morgan’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
