Caldwell “Not Out of the Woods Yet” Despite No COVID-19 Cases in Over a Month

While Caldwell County hasn’t had a positive case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in over a month elected officials are reminding residents to continue to adhere to CDC guidelines to help slow the spread of the virus even more.
Judge-Executive Larry Curling says a positive thing to consider is the increase in testing, which will continue to be facilitated through the Caldwell Medical Center.

Judge Curling adds even though Caldwell hasn’t had a confirmed case in seven weeks, now is not the time to abandon social distancing practices.

In a social media post Sunday Princeton Mayor Kota Young announced both hospitalized COVID-19 patients are now home. The county’s other ten cases were able to rest and recover in their own homes.
