Fans Being Accepted for Cooling Our Communities Campaign

Pennyrile Allied Community Services (PACS) is asking for community assistance by donating fans to help those in need this summer.
Haley Moser, who works for PACS, tells the News Edge that fans have become a staple for the summer months around the region.

Mabel Ellis works at the Trigg County PACS office and says she sees the need every summer.

Fans or monetary donations can be dropped off at the WPKY Studio in Princeton. They are also being accepted at Akridge Farm Supply in Eddyville and Fredonia.
In addition, Moser says they have a Summer Cooling Program that will start Wednesday.

The Summer Cooling Program helps those who may have trouble paying their electric bills. More information will be released this week on the Pennyrile Allied Community Services Facebook page.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, applications for the Summer Cooling Program are only being completed by phone. You can make an appointment by calling (270) 632-2313 or clicking here.
