Funeral services for Jannie Peters, age 61, of Princeton, will be held Saturday afternoon at two at Morgan’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Meeks Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday morning from eleven until service time at the funeral home.
Jannie was a homemaker and a member of Princeton General Baptist Church. She loved to sing, play the guitar, paint, make jewelry, and furniture.
She is survived by her husband: Charles David Peters; daughter: Lora Ford and husband, Robert, of Dawson Springs; three brothers: Richard Merrick and Tony Merrick, both of Princeton and Stanley Merrick of Hopkinsville; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
During this difficult time, friends and family may show their support by utilizing the “Hugs from Home” program, where heartfelt messages will be attached to a balloon in the chapel to remind the family of their love and support. Memorial contributions may also be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
