Kentucky State Police Holding Trooper Island Fundraiser in Princeton Wednesday

2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon

Troopers with Kentucky State Police Post 2 will be in Princeton Wednesday to help raise money for Trooper Island Camp.
Post 2 Public Information Officer Rob Austin says he will be at Walmart on Highway 62 West from 10AM until 2PM selling $10 raffle tickets to win a 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. He adds all proceeds from the ticket sales will go to KSP’s Trooper Island Camp, which is located on Dale Hollow Lake in Clinton County.
Trooper Austin states every year KSP takes around 800 children to camp at no cost to their families. The camp is geared toward children between the ages of 10 and 12 and provides a fun atmosphere with good food, fresh air, recreation, guidance, and structured esteem-building activities designed to build good citizenship and positive relationships with law enforcement.
Trooper Austin notes KSP is only able to accomplish the yearly camp by raffling off a vehicle, donations from the community, and fundraisers. Raffle tickets can also be purchased online here.
