Funeral services for Cullan Brown, age 20, of Eddyville, will be held Saturday afternoon at two on the lawn of Eddyville First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery in Lyon County.
Visitation will be held Friday afternoon from two until eight and Saturday morning from ten until 1PM at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville.
Cullan was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and Eddyville First Baptist Church Youth Group. He was also a member of the University of Kentucky golf team where he was named UK “Male Freshman Athlete of the Year”. Cullan was also an avid outdoorsman and duck hunter.
Survivors include his parents: Rodney and Emily Engler Brown of Eddyville; one sister: Cathryn Nicole Brown of Eddyville; maternal grandparents: Herschel and Romona Engler of Eddyville; paternal grandmother: Beverly Brown of Eddyville; two uncles: Jay Brown and Brock Engler, both of Eddyville; and two cousins.
During this difficult time, friends and family may show their support by utilizing the “Hugs from Home” program, where heartfelt messages will be attached to a balloon in the chapel to remind the family of their love and support. All hugs must be received by five Thursday evening and can be sent by visiting lakelandchapel.com.
Memorial contributions may also be made to the Cullan Brown Memorial West KY Junior Golf Development Fund.
