Bro. Donald “Don” Moore, 83, of Evansville, formerly of Princeton and Cadiz

Funeral services for Bro. Donald “Don” Moore, age 83, of Evansville, formerly of Princeton and Cadiz, will be held Tuesday morning at eleven at First Southern Baptist Church in Evansville. Burial will follow in the Park Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday afternoon from two until seven and Tuesday morning from ten until service time at the church.
Bro. Don served the Lord faithfully for over 60 years and pastored several churches including Crossroads Baptist Church in Cadiz, Southside Baptist Church in Princeton, First Southern Baptist Church in Evansville, Highland Baptist Church in Henderson, New Bethel Baptist Church, Memorial Baptist Church, and Creek Side Baptist Church in Evansville, where he was currently serving as Senior Pastor. He also started the ministry “Wings of Victory,” went on several international missionary trips, and served as Vice President of the Southern Baptist Convention for one year. Bro. Don also served as a Trustee on the Southern Baptist Convention’s Sunday School Board, served two terms as the President of State Convention of Baptist in Indiana and was an Executive Board Chairman, and continuously served on many other committees. He never met a stranger and loved the Lord, his foremost desire to see people come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.
He is survived by his wife fo 64 years, Edie Adams Moore; son: Terry Don Moore and wife, Cindy; one brother: Gayle Trice Moore; two grandchildren; three step grandchildren; five great grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren.
